Allan Cook, President & CEO
Allan started a summer job with an electrical contracting company that his brother-in-law worked at when he was just 15 years old. Despite only earning $1.90/hour, he knew that being an electrician was the key to his future. He also knew that one day his ambition to succeed would result in having his own company—thus was born what would become Alco Electric.
In February of 1995, Allan was licensed and working full-time as an electrical contractor. He proceeded to launch Alco Construction & Electrical Services in 2004, once obtaining his General B Contractor License to expand the company’s capabilities.
Along the way, Allan learned one key business truth: “Do what you say you’ll do while always keeping your integrity intact, and you’ll never lose a client.
Joshua Veblen, COO
Josh uses his extensive industry knowledge to collaborate in helping customers conceptualize, design, finance, and implement general construction, tenant improvement, energy optimization and sustainability projects throughout the west coast. Josh’s technical strength is complimented by stellar communication skills allowing him to easily translate customer needs into technical guidelines providing leadership for our internal teams, and clients.
Throughout his career, he has developed and implemented a variety of construction, energy optimization and sustainability projects with warehouse/distribution, food processing, healthcare, K12, higher education, manufacturing, municipal, and federal government customers, including many national accounts.
Kris Kimble, VP Sales, Marketing
Twenty seven years of professional experience has provided a broad base from which to offer leadership and business development expertise as well as collaboration, consulting and advice to other business leaders. A passion for efficiency, formal training and certification combine in a unique and pragmatic approach to planning, problem solving and results.
Specialties: Understanding a wide range of industries (academics, workforce development, building owners/managers, architectural/design, government and business) need to plan, meet mandates, and establish meaningful policy for performance and change.
