Duarte, California, Dec 23, 2018 – THE ROLLOUT CONTINUES: Alco Building Solutions, Inc. (ABS) announced this morning that it has entered into contract to implement both interior & exterior LED lighting upgrades in 122 CVS Pharmacy locations throughout California in 2019. ABS has collaborated with strategic partner Wesco Distributions – National Retail Group to secure this work, and both parties have apparently been quite busy launching a number of pre-construction activities in anticipation of this effort.

This latest contract with CVS Health marks a significant milestone in relationship with the national chain, where earlier this year ABS was tasked with implementing a 30 location roll-out as well.

ABS President, Allan Cook, was quoted as saying “It’s such an honor serving our clients and strategic partners in this capacity. We are more committed than ever to performing at a level that exceeds our partners expectations, which is why this new opportunity has presented itself in the first place. We care deeply about doing the right thing and honoring the commitments we’ve made relative to our team members abilities/performance. We can’t wait to get busy!”

Chris Tracy, with Wesco’s National Retail Group also added – “First let me say that we can’t thank ABS enough for the good work that they are doing! Moving forward, we intend to partner with ABS on all projects where their team can add value in the West Coast Market, and beyond. We look forward to a great working relationship in 2019 and we have been very impressed with ABS at all levels.”

The project’s at CVS Pharmacy California locations are part of a larger phased rollout that has been in existence since 2015. CVS Health intends to complete LED lighting projects for all of its retail locations by 2021. To date, CVS Health has achieved more than $30 million dollars in cumulative savings and has achieved a 26% reduction in carbon intensity when compared to 2010 baseline information. CVS Health have many initiatives at work, which align with the firms “Environmental Commitment and Climate Change Policy Statements”.
