Arcadia, California, March 16, 2021 – ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN HIGHER EDUCATION: Alco Building Solutions, Inc. (ABS) announced this morning that it has been awarded and signed contracts to implement a LED lighting and intelligent lighting controls project with California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). As a result of a competitive bid process, ABS was selected to deploy energy efficiency and intelligent controls solutions to increase the IOT capability of the campus while reducing baseline energy consumption.

ABS offers robust solutions for clients in the higher education, community college, K-12 and private education sectors. The award from CSUDH builds upon ABS’ unique product offering, including the School Project for Utility Rate Reduction (SPURR) awarded to ABS earlier last year. SPURR is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) with over 250 member California K-12 public school districts, community college districts and county offices of education.
